"Time Series Analysis” A Short Course by Prof. Dudley B. Chelton from Oregon University, gathers fifty scientists from leading research institutes in the Balearic Islands
Dr. Ananda Pascual - TMOOS/IMEDEA (CSIC-UIB) - organized in collaboration with SOCIB, the Balearic Islands Government and the College of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences (CEOAS) from Oregon University, a “Course on Time Series Analysis” imparted by Professor Dudley B. Chelton (CEOAS) and also a seminar entitled “Mesoscale and Submesoscale Ekman Pumping”.
This course gathered fifty scientists from leading research institutes in the Balearic Islands, such as IMEDEA (CSIC-UIB), Oceanographic Center Of the Balearic Islands (COB), University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) and SOCIB. This training was vital for oceanographers and those members of the scientific community and students who wanted to learn and improve skills on primary oceanographic analysis, both temporally and spatially.
