SOCIB modelling results presented at the GODAE Coastal Ocean and Shelf Seas Task Team International Workshop
Mélanie Juza, Romain Escudier and Baptiste Mourre participated to this international workshop focused on coastal and regional ocean modelling and held in Lisbon (Portugal) from the 31st of August to the 4th of September, 2015. SOCIB presentations focused on the recent advances concerning the WMOP model, specifically its multi-platform and multi-scale assessment, the data assimilation experiment using ALBOREX measurements and the characterization of mesoscale eddies, from both altimeter data and regional models in the Western Mediterranean Sea. These presentations also provided relevant inputs for the pilot ARCOM Workshop (Altimetry for Regional and Coastal Ocean Models) that was embedded in the GODAE COSS-TT Workshop.
